IPL is a light based therapy used to improve the skin and diminish hair growth. By using specific wavelengths of filtered light, it will target the required structures in the skin such as melanin, blood, water in collagen. These structures are heated up by the light, effectively destroyed and then naturally broken down to be removed by the body.
